Once you you register, you will be able to access to a Reserved Area where you will be able to use our services. Why should I register? CvEngine will allow you to research our database, which contains thousands of constantly updated Curricula, organized on parameters set by a professional equipe of Recruitment analysts. Sociologists, job psychologists, human resources consultants who had already worked on hundreds of researchs contributed to our system analysis so that you have a special service, not the usual marketplace. Are there hidden costs? All CvEngine services are for free for every Candidate, there's no hidden cost. Can I submit more than one Curriculum Vitae? Yes, of course, there's no limit to the Curricula you can submit. I registered on CvEngine and I got the password. What do I do now? Login on CvEngine, insert all your data, fill in your Curriculum Vitae (so that you can see it on the web at www.cvengine.com/YourNick) and create one or more Job Alert, in order to receive job offers directly on your email. I registered on CvEngine but I didn't receive the password. How can I get it? There's no problem! CvEngine site has the proper function. Just click on "Forgotten password?" on the "Candidates" box and insert your registration e-mail so that you receive your password. Pay attention: some mailing clients and antivirus may block our e-mail flagging them as spam, deleting it from your email so that you cannot read them. Please, verify your mailing options on your mailserver and email program. I forgot my password, how can I get it again? You'll find the proper function on CvEngine site. Just click on "Forgotten password?" on the "Candidates" box and insert your registration e-mail address in order to receive a new password. Please, pay attention: some email clients / antivirus may flag our e-mails as spam, deleting them from your email and blocking your reading access. Verify your email settings on your email server and email programs. How can I be found by a Company, after filling in my Curriculum Vitae? Companies can find you through a research on our Curricula database. Moreover, you can apply to their job offers or send spontaneous requests. I attached my Curriculum Vitae (word, pdf...) but it was rejected. why? In order to let us approve your Curriculum Vitae, first of all you must fill in your Curriculum in your reserved area on CvEngine. So: login into Candidates Reserved Area with your email address and your registration password; go to "CV List" section, left-side menu, and create your Curriculum Vitae by filling in the following pages: Personal data, Education and extra learning, Working experience, Personal skills and Known languages. If there's personal data on your attachments (such as your address, telephone number, etc) you must authorize us to data use, as for italian laws. How can I apply for a Job offer? Using the correct function. Login on CvEngine site, visualize the details of the job offer you are interested in and click on "Candidates" button. You will see it only if you are logged in on the site. Can I contact a Company registered to CvEngine, even if they didn't advertise anything suitable for me? Yes, you can use the "Send to..." function, that you will see on your Curriculum Vitae after logging in on CvEngine site. Fill in the "Recipient" field with the Company's email and the "Subject/Referral" field with the job offer details, insert your message and click on "Send". Your PDF Curriculum Vitae will be sent by email. I filled in my Curriculum Vitae, can I send it to offers on other websites? Of course. You can use your www.cvengine.com/yournick address (where YourNick is the nickname you chose when you registered on CvEngine), just like a personal card. Therefore, remember to keep it updated! I applied for a job. What can I do now? If you specified valid addresses (i.e. an email address or a mobile phone number) through which you can be contacted, you just have to wait for the Company to evaluate your appliance in comparison to its request. A Company to which I made appliance saw my Curriculum Vitae and decided it is "Valid". What do I do now? If you specified valid contact medias (i.e. an email address or a mobile phone number), you just have to wait for the Company to contact you. How can I see my online Curriculum Vitae? You just have to digit www.cvengine.com/YourNick in your browser (where YourNick is the nickname you chose when you registered on CvEngine).That link will assure you that your CV will be available to all people receiving it. How can I promote my Curriculum Vitae on the web? You can use the www.cvengine.com/YourNick address (where YourNick is the nickname you chose when registering on CvEngine), just like it was your card, remember to keep it constantly updated and to use it well. You can use it with your friends on MySpace and Friendster, you can post it on your blog or on your online friends blogs, you can send it via mail, you can use it with social bookmarking instruments (http://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Social_bookmarking) just like del.ico.us and digg.com I receive too many "Job Alerts" that do not adhere to my profile, how can I receive adherent offers only? In order to receive job offers adequate to your profile or restricted to a precise Geographical Area, you must personalize CvEngine Job Alert with adequate research filters. Log into Candidates Reserved Area using your e-mail address and the password you got when you registered, enter "Job Alert" zone, on the left hand-side menu, and set up the right research filters. You can set up different "Job Alerts" with different filters and peculiarities. How can I stop receiving CvEngine "Job Alerts"? Login on CvEngine site, click on "Job Alerts" (you will find it in the left hand-side menu). In the following page, you will just have to select the desired Job Alert on the grid and select "Inactive" as its "Alert state". You can also click on the removal icon (a red X), just on the grid, in order to delete it permanently. How can I have all my data deleted from the CvEngine site? Log in on CvEngine site, click on "Login Info" on the right hand-side menu. In the following page you'll just have to select "Delete user" in order to unsubscribe from CvEngine, deleting all your data. Be careful: this procedure is not reversible and all data will be removed, even your compiled Curriculum Vitae. I found a job: what do I do now? Great! CvEngine Staff wishes you good luck for your new adventure, hoping you will get great personal and working results. If you don't need to receive our "Job Alerts" anymore, you can render them inactive, but remember to keep your Curriculum Vitae updated and remember that it will always be your personal on-line referral card.
